And yet somehow, you’re still only minutes from Dollar Mountain, River Run, the Sun Valley Lodge, and downtown Ketchum when it’s time to get after it.

That’s the magic of staying in Elkhorn. You feel tucked away—but never far away.

Inside, the home is warm and welcoming, recently updated with new mattresses throughout to make sure everyone sleeps well after a full day on the mountain or the trail. The living room is centered around a stone fireplace and cozy seating—perfect for settling in after skiing Baldy or catching a summer concert at the Pavilion. It flows naturally into the dining space and fully stocked kitchen, where you can cook up your favorite meals or reheat last night’s Pioneer Saloon leftovers.

The main level offers a primary suite with a king bed and a second bedroom with a queen, while upstairs opens into a spacious loft-style bedroom with two queen beds, a full-size futon, and an ensuite bathroom—ideal for kids, cousins, or the friends who volunteered to sleep “wherever.”

In the warmer months, the private deck becomes its own little retreat—an easy place to sit with a drink, take in the mountain air, and decide whether tomorrow’s adventure is golf, hiking, biking, or another day on the slopes.

Guests also receive access to Elkhorn’s amenities, including the seasonal pool, hot tub, steam room, tennis and pickleball courts, and playground—great for both post-ski recovery and summer afternoons in the sun.

And when it’s time to head into town or up the mountain, the Mountain Rides shuttle conveniently stops right at the corner of the street—making it easy to explore without ever needing to drive.
Whether you're here for powder days, wildflower hikes, or long summer evenings in the mountains, this home offers a comfortable basecamp for gathering, resting, and making the most of your time in Sun Valley.
