At the very end of a quiet road in Warm Springs—where the pavement gives way to riverbank and mountain views—sits one of Ketchum’s most iconic vacation homes.
Mornings tend to begin slowly here. Coffee in hand. Doors cracked open. The sound of the river just outside filling the room while the light starts to creep over the mountains. In the winter, you’ll see snow settling along the banks while steam rises from the natural hot springs just across the water.

It’s quiet. Private. Tucked away enough that the loudest thing you’ll hear with the windows open is the river moving past the backyard.

And yet—two minutes later—you’re clicking into skis at the Warm Springs lift.

This 5-bedroom riverfront estate has been a favorite among returning guests for years. It’s even hosted some unforgettable stays—most notably Lindsey Vonn during her Silver Medal run at the 2025 World Cup.

Inside, the main level opens into a grand living, dining, and kitchen space designed for gathering. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking—guests often find themselves trying new recipes from the collection of cookbooks and plating dinners on the many serving pieces provided. It’s the kind of kitchen where dinner plans get extended and reservations downtown quietly get canceled after the first night.

The main dining table seats ten comfortably, with additional bar seating and a nearby game nook that quickly becomes the unofficial headquarters for puzzles, cards, or late-night board games as the snow falls—or the long summer light lingers just a little longer.

From there, the living room is centered around a massive stone fireplace and surrounded by comfortable seating—an easy place to settle in after skiing Baldy or hiking the nearby trails.

Also on this level is the Elk Room, the main primary suite. With a California king bed, fireplace, sweeping views of the river and surrounding mountains, and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with a rain shower, it’s the kind of room that replaces any need for a hotel upgrade.

Upstairs, four additional ensuite bedrooms offer privacy for everyone in your group. The Timber Room serves as a second primary suite, overlooking the river—and in winter, even capturing views of ski runs across Baldy. With its own fireplace, spacious ensuite bathroom featuring a soaking tub and walk-in shower, and a massive walk-in closet that doubles as an additional sleeping space with a twin bed, it’s an ideal setup for parents traveling with a little one—or anyone who appreciates a bit of extra room to spread out.

The Fly Room and Ski Room each feature queen beds and their own bathrooms, while the bunk room—outfitted with reclaimed wood bunks (three full beds and one twin)—offers its own hangout space with plush seating, a table for games, and a large Smart TV.

Every bedroom in the home has its own ensuite bathroom, making this an ideal setup for large families or multiple groups traveling together.

Step outside and the experience continues. The wraparound patio (currently being upgraded for Summer 2026) offers panoramic mountain views, a BBQ grill, and a riverfront hot tub—arguably the best seat in the house after a day on the slopes or trail.

Heated garage parking, a paved driveway with ample space for additional vehicles, and two in-home laundry areas add everyday convenience to an otherwise elevated stay.
While Sun Valley offers no shortage of adventure, many guests find that this home becomes the highlight of the trip itself.
